Welcome to Class 7!!!

This year in class 7 Miss Bingham will be our teacher. We are also very lucky to have Mrs Butchard helping us during the week.

Summer 1

This half-term we will be learning all about our local area in Geography. In Maths we will be focusing on time and recording and interpreting data. In English we will be learning about myths and legends. Our Science topic will be plants and in RE we will be focusing on rules for living. Please see our topic web below for more details.

Homework Update 20/4/18

Children have My Maths homework and they also have spellings to learn for next week. Thank you for your continued support!

Maths

One piece of written work per week or a piece set from the ‘My Maths’ website.

Regular learning of tables is essential. There will usually be a times tables test once a fortnight, (on a Friday).

English

Regular reading at home

A spellings list to be learned weekly, the test will be on a Friday

A piece of written work will be set fortnightly.

Homework will be set on a Friday and will need to be completed for the following Wednesday, (spellings and times tables will be tested on a Friday). The children will bring their spellings home in a small, red book.
