Class 14

frownWelcome to Class 14!frown

Thank you for visiting our class page! We are a Year 6 class - our teacher is Mr Gillin and our AMAZING learning support assistants are Mrs Weston and Mrs Davies. We are an energetic and enthusiastic group of children who are ready for the challenges of our final year of primary school, which will be packed with lots of teamwork, creativity...and FUN!

Because we are the oldest in the school, we have lots of responsibilities and jobs (but many extra little privileges too!). We also help the younger children through the school, just like we were helped when we needed it!

We are all also looking forward to the best week of the year...nope, not SATs! In the Summer term, we all go away together to PGL before moving on to our secondary schools.

Keep visiting our class page regularly to see what we've been doing, as well as important information, news, documents and weblinks that will help our learning.

Bye for now! cheeky

SATs preparation

Children will be taking short assessments in reading, arithmetic, maths and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) on the week beginning Monday 14th May. All children will be receiving three new homework books: one for reading, one for maths and one for SPaG. They will either be ‘Achieve 100’ or ‘Achieve 100+’. Children will be asked to complete a number of pages from each book every week according to what they have learned in school. Children should not work through these at their own pace but as directed by their class teacher. It is important that every child has these in by Wednesday every week for marking. Thank you!
