Class 14

frownWelcome to Class 14!frown

Thank you for visiting our class page! We are a Year 6 class - our teachers are Mrs Parry and Mrs Jones and our wonderful learning support assistant is Mrs Weston. We are an enthusiastic and hard-working group of children who are ready for the challenges of our final year of primary school, which will be packed with lots of teamwork, creativity...and FUN!

Because we are the oldest in the school, we have lots of responsibilities and jobs (but many extra little privileges too!). We also help the younger children through the school, just like we were helped when we needed it!

We are all also looking forward to the best week of the year...nope, not SATs! In the Summer term, we all go away together to PGL before moving on to our secondary schools.

Keep visiting our class page regularly to see what we've been doing, as well as important information, news, documents and weblinks that will help our learning.

Bye for now! cheeky

Rising Stars revision books 16.11.18

Dear Parents

Your child will be bringing a set of revision books home with them today; this is what the majority of our homework will be set in from now on. Children will highlight the contents page to indicate which tasks have been set.

We are unable to replace any lost books. Please visit the below link if you require a replacement

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=rising+stars+achieve+the+

Please be aware that these books do have answer pages inside. We keep them in there as it can be useful for families to refer to and we trust the children to revise maturely and responsibly. You may take these out if you wish and keep them at home.

Thank you

DT/Geography - children explored where their food comes from, thinking about imports and climate zones that produce different fruits. They then prepared a fruit salad using their DT skills.

Mayan Masks - in History whilst we learnt about the Ancient Maya, we created masks that they used to symbolise wealth and power.
