Class 13

Welcome to Class 13

This is the home of a wonderfully hard-working and enthusiastic Year 6 class, who understand the responsibilities they have now they are the eldest in the school, but also know how to have lots of FUN!

Our teacher is Mrs. Carew and we are fortunate enough to be taught, supported and encouraged by Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Murray. We are also guided by our fabulous teaching assistants- Mrs. Weston and Mrs. Davies.

This year is all about showing off our skills and simply being the best that we can be!  It is an opportunity for us to take on roles of responsibility and set a positive example for younger children in school.

Please keep checking back for updates, reminders and photographs frown

SATs preparation

Children will be taking short assessments in reading, arithmetic, maths and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) on the week beginning Monday 14th May. All children will be receiving three new homework books: one for reading, one for maths and one for SPaG. They will either be ‘Achieve 100’ or ‘Achieve 100+’. Children will be asked to complete a number of pages from each book every week according to what they have learned in school. Children should not work through these at their own pace but as directed by their class teacher. It is important that every child has these in by Wednesday every week for marking. Thank you!
