Class 11

Welcome to Class 11

Our teacher is Mr Maguire and we are fortunate enough to have the support of the wonderful Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Davies.

Mrs Jones will be taking Class 11 every Tuesday afternoon

and she is very excited about this!

In Class 11 we take great pride in our classwork and homework as we understand the importance of being responsible for our own learning. We are focused on our targets and what we need to do in order to achieve them. Most of all, we have fun and enjoy being part of our wonderful school.

Literacy and Maths homework will be set every Thursday and should be returned by the following Wednesday. We encourage children to take pride in the presentation of their homework and ask that it is completed to the same standard as their classwork should be.

Spellings will be set every Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday. Children will bring their spellings home in a book, which they should use to practise their words in. These must be in school every Tuesday in order for new words to be set.

PE will take place on a Monday (indoors) and Thursday (outdoors). Please make sure the appropriate kit is in school.

Science: Forces. This term we have been studying forces in science. We have looked at how gravity has created and changed the world around us. We also studied friction and air resistance and how these forces will effect an object.

Here are some images from our trip to The Liverpool Museum where we learned about the ancient Egyptians and their culture. We especially enjoyed discovering the facts around mummification, and even making our own mummy. Unfortunately Mr. Maguire would not allow us to bring him back to class!

Homework set on 15/3/18, due on 21/3/18.

Maths - please complete the 2 pieces of work about measuring and comparing angles on MyMaths.

Spellings - spring 6 will be tested on 20/3/18.

SPAG.com - complete grammar test online focusing on expanded noun phrases.

Many thanks

Mrs. Parry and Mr. Maguire
